The FEEDing project

'The FEEDing project' (Feeding, English, Elderly & Disabled)

The ECG(L) have launched a food pack project to help our elderly and disabled .
The elderly and disabled are the most vulnerable in our community and are victims of government cuts in public services.

We feel strongly about promoting positivity and helping our community and so have created this project for others to follow on with too.

The photos below are of our food pack and us handing it to Dave of Braunstone, Leicester who has learning difficulties, a kidney failure problem and who lives alone.

It is quite easy to create food pack. It only takes a small amount of money, approximately £5 - £10 to buy mainly cheap brand food stuff and to contribute from our own households if able to and there you have it! ? one food pack ready to feed anyone who is elderly or disabled.
We want you to do the same in Leicester and for it to spread to other cities across England. Send us your photo?s and we will put them up on here too.
Note: Once we have fed our own there is no reason why we cannot also reach out to other communities too in such hard times.

The service has had a great response from our Facebook group that can be found here ECG(L) Facebook
